The hardware works fine, but the included paper manual was very sparse. Had to look up datasheets online to understand the registers.

Great value for altitude projects
Using this for a DIY drone altimeter. It provides consistent data. Only giving 4 stars because the soldering pads are a bit small for beginners.

Perfect drop-in replacement
Worked flawlessly as a replacement for my old BMP085. The I2C address is the same, so no code changes were needed. Readings are stable and accurate.

A: No, the module is shipped with unsoldered header pins to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself.
Q: Can this be used outdoors without extra protection?
A: The sensor chip itself is robust, but the PCB is not waterproof. We recommend placing it inside a breathable enclosure if used outdoors.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V logic levels?
A: Yes, the GY-68 board includes a voltage regulator and level shifter, making it safe to use with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: What is the accuracy of the altitude measurement?
A: While it measures pressure precisely, altitude accuracy depends on local weather conditions. Typically, it offers ±1 meter resolution under stable conditions.
