Solid hardware, minor docs issue
The sensor accuracy is impressive and matches my calibrated lab equipment. The only reason for 4 stars is that the schematic diagram in the PDF was slightly blurry, but I managed to figure out the circuit easily.

Great value for prototyping
I bought three of these for a home automation project. They communicate reliably over the 1-wire bus even with long cables. The build quality feels robust enough for permanent installation.

Reliable for student projects
We used these in our university robotics competition. They handled the varying environmental conditions well. One unit had a slightly loose header pin, but a quick solder fix resolved it.

Perfect for STM32 Learning
This board made it incredibly easy to get started with temperature sensing on the STM32 platform. The pinout is clearly labeled, and the sample code provided in the documentation worked flawlessly on the first try.

Accurate and fast response
The response time is quicker than expected for a DS18B20 setup. Reading temperatures every second shows no lag or data corruption. Highly recommended for any IoT weather station.

Saved me weeks of work
Instead of designing my own PCB and sourcing components separately, this module saved me so much time. It plugs right into my breadboard and works immediately with Keil and STM32CubeIDE.
Q: Does this board come with pre-flashed firmware?
A: No, the board is shipped without pre-flashed application firmware to allow you to develop your own custom code using STM32CubeIDE, Keil, or other preferred environments. Basic bootloader support is included.
Q: Does this support 5V logic levels if my MCU is 3.3V?
A: The board includes a voltage regulator and level shifting circuitry, making it safe to interface with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers and power sources without damaging the components.
Q: What is the maximum cable length supported for external probes?
A: For reliable communication, we recommend keeping external probe cables under 50 meters. Using a strong pull-up resistor (4.7kΩ) on the data line is essential for longer distances.
Q: Is the source code for the example available?
A: Yes, you can download the full source code examples, including HAL library configurations and main loop logic, from the 'Downloads' section on our product page or via the QR code on the box.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to this single board?
A: This specific board features one onboard DS18B20 sensor. However, the exposed 1-Wire GPIO pins allow you to daisy-chain additional external DS18B20 sensors to the same bus line.
