Reliable and Accurate
I bought five of these for a multi-room temperature monitoring system. They all communicate perfectly on the same data line. Very happy with the build quality.

Bulk order success
Ordered 20 units for our workshop. Every single one worked out of the box. The waterproof version would be nice, but this standard module is perfect for indoor use.

Solid sensor module
Good response time and accurate readings. Documentation could be better, but there are plenty of online tutorials for the DS18B20 anyway.

Great value for money
Works as described. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the header pins were slightly bent upon arrival, but easy to fix. Sensor performance is top-notch.

Stable 1-Wire Communication
Integrated this into an ESP32 project for outdoor weather tracking. Even with long cables, the signal remains stable. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts.
Q: Does it come with a pull-up resistor?
A: Yes, the module includes an onboard 4.7kΩ pull-up resistor, so you do not need to add an external one for basic operation.
Q: Is it compatible with 3.3V logic systems like Raspberry Pi?
A: Absolutely. The module operates within a 3.0V to 5.5V range, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers without level shifters.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended?
A: For reliable communication, we recommend keeping cable lengths under 100 meters. For longer distances, you may need to adjust the pull-up resistor value or use shielded cable.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to a single GPIO pin?
A: Yes, the DS18B20 supports the 1-Wire protocol, allowing you to connect multiple sensors in parallel to a single data pin. Each sensor has a unique 64-bit serial code.
Q: Is this module waterproof?
A: No, this specific module is not waterproof. It is designed for indoor or dry environments. If you need water resistance, please look for our stainless steel probe version.
