Good value but needs careful calibration
The sensor is responsive and the build quality is decent for the price. It took some time to get the detection range just right for my specific floor surface, but once calibrated, it tracks lines smoothly.

Great for university projects
Used this for our final year smart car project. The four channels provide enough resolution for smooth turning algorithms. The obstacle avoidance feature is a nice bonus addition.

Solid performance under indoor lighting
Works perfectly indoors. I noticed slight interference under direct sunlight, which is expected for IR sensors. For indoor competitions or hobby use, it is excellent.

Easy to integrate
Wiring was straightforward. The digital output makes it very easy to read with microcontrollers without needing extra ADC conversion. My kids' robot car runs great with this.
