High update rate is impressive
The 200Hz output rate allows for very smooth control loops in my balancing robot. The barometer adds a nice touch for altitude hold features.

Perfect for my ROS robot project
This sensor integrated seamlessly with my Raspberry Pi running ROS. The data stream is stable and the attitude angle calculations are very accurate right out of the box.

Great value, minor calibration needed
Excellent hardware for the price. I had to spend some time calibrating the magnetometer to get perfect heading data, but once done, it works flawlessly.

Good sensor, confusing wiring diagram
The sensor itself performs well, but the pinout diagram in the manual was slightly unclear regarding the voltage logic levels. Had to test carefully to avoid damage.

Reliable industrial sensing
We deployed ten of these modules in our automated guided vehicles. They have been running 24/7 for three months without any drift issues or failures.

Easy to use for beginners
As someone new to IMUs, I found the documentation clear. The UART interface made it easy to read data using a simple serial terminal before moving to complex code.
Q: Is the magnetometer affected by nearby motors?
A: Yes, like all magnetometers, it can be influenced by strong magnetic fields from motors. We recommend mounting it away from high-current cables and motors.
Q: Does this module come with a library for Arduino?
A: Yes, we provide a sample Arduino library and code examples on our GitHub repository to help you get started quickly.
Q: What is the default baud rate for communication?
A: The default baud rate is 115200 bps, but it can be configured to other standard rates via our configuration software.
Q: Does it support I2C interface as well?
A: This specific JY901B model primarily supports UART/TTL. If you require I2C, please check our JY61 model which offers that interface option.
Q: Can I use this sensor underwater?
A: No, this module is not waterproof. It should only be used in dry environments or inside a sealed waterproof enclosure.
