Great value for the price
Solid roin in a nice wooden box. It takes a few strokes to get going, but once it does, the sound is warm and clear. Only giving 4 stars because the box lid is a bit tight.

Good quality, fast shipping
The rosin arrived quickly and was well-packaged. It works well on my old Stradivarius copy. I wish it came with a small cloth for cleaning, but overall very satisfied.

Clean and effective
As someone who plays daily, keeping my instrument clean is a priority. This dust-free formula is a game changer. No more wiping down the strings every ten minutes.

My go-to rosin for years
I have been using the Christina 8010SX for over three years. It provides consistent traction on the bow hair and doesn't create that annoying cloud of dust that other brands do. Highly recommended.

Perfect for beginners
Bought this for my daughter's first violin. It is easy to apply and helps her get a good sound right away. The wooden box makes it feel premium despite the affordable price.

Excellent grip without the mess
I switched to this Christina rosin a month ago and noticed an immediate difference. The dust-free formula really works; my violin stays much cleaner after practice sessions. The grip is perfect for my student-level instrument.
Q: How long does one cake typically last?
A: With regular daily practice of about an hour, one cake usually lasts between 6 to 9 months depending on how heavily you apply it.
Q: Can I use this on a synthetic core string set?
A: Absolutely. This rosin works excellently with both gut and synthetic core strings, providing reliable grip without being too sticky.
Q: What should I do if the rosin surface becomes too smooth?
A: If the surface gets glazed from heavy use, you can gently scratch it with a key or sandpaper to expose a fresh layer for better application.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for a viola as well?
A: While this is specifically formulated for violins, many violists use it successfully. However, for optimal performance on a viola, we recommend checking our specific viola rosin range.
Q: Does the wooden box have a felt lining inside?
A: Yes, the interior of the wooden box features a soft felt lining to protect the rosin cake from cracking during transport.
