Solid construction
Very well made for a student model. The keys are aligned perfectly, and there are no air leaks. It holds its tuning well even after playing for an hour. Highly recommend for school bands.

Good intonation
Intonation is quite good across the registers. It required very little adjustment from our repair tech. For the price point, you really cannot beat the quality of the silver plating and key action.

Perfect for my marching band student
This piccolo is incredibly durable and lightweight, which is exactly what we needed for marching season. The silver plating looks professional, and the wood-imitation finish gives it a unique aesthetic without the maintenance of real wood.

Great value for the price
As an intermediate player looking for a backup instrument, this exceeded my expectations. The tone is bright and clear. The only minor issue is that the case latches feel a bit stiff initially, but they are breaking in nicely.

Excellent projection
I was skeptical about an ABS body, but the projection on this instrument is fantastic. It cuts through the ensemble easily. The C key mechanism is smooth and responsive right out of the box.

Beautiful appearance
The wood-imitation grain looks surprisingly realistic and elegant. My daughter loves how it looks, and I love that it won't crack like a wooden piccolo might if left in a hot car.
Q: Is the body made of real wood or plastic?
A: The body is made of high-grade ABS resin with a wood-imitation finish. This makes it more durable and resistant to cracking than traditional wood.
Q: Can this be used for outdoor performances?
A: Absolutely. The ABS body and silver-plated keys are designed to withstand temperature changes better than wood, making it ideal for outdoor marching bands.
Q: Does this piccolo come with a carrying case?
A: Yes, it includes a durable hard shell case along with a cleaning rod, cloth, and gloves.
Q: Are the keys open hole or closed hole?
A: This model features closed holes, which are generally recommended for students and intermediate players for easier finger placement.
Q: What is the pitch of this instrument?
A: This is a standard C Key piccolo, pitched one octave higher than the concert flute.
