Reliable and responsive

Beautiful instrument, slight adjustment needed

The craftsmanship is excellent and the sound is vibrant. It required a very minor screw adjustment upon arrival, which is normal for woodwinds shipped internationally. Once set up, it plays like a dream. The case is also very sturdy.

Upgrade from my student model

Moving from a plastic student piccolo to this ebony Yamaha was a game changer. The projection is incredible, and the tonal color is much more complex. The silver-plated keys feel substantial and well-made. Worth every penny.
