Essential for new setups

Easy to use for novices

Great product, strong smell
This works wonderfully for breaking down waste and stabilizing pH. The only downside is the slightly earthy smell when you first open the bottle, but it dissipates quickly in the tank.

Works well in saltwater too
Although marketed generally, I've had great success using this in my reef tank. It helps manage organic load without affecting my corals. Just wish the bottle was larger.

Crystal clear water in days!
I was struggling with cloudy water in my new 55-gallon tank. After adding this bacteria liquid as directed, the water cleared up within 48 hours. My fish seem much more active too.
Q: Does this remove chlorine from tap water?
A: No, this product introduces beneficial bacteria but does not neutralize chlorine. Please use a separate water conditioner to treat tap water before adding this bacteria.
Q: Can I use this in a saltwater reef tank?
A: Yes, our nitrifying bacteria formula is safe and effective for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, including reef setups.
Q: What is the shelf life if unopened?
A: An unopened bottle has a shelf life of 18 months when stored in a cool, dark place. Once opened, it is best used within 6 months for maximum potency.
Q: How often should I dose this product?
A: For maintenance, we recommend dosing once a week or after every 25% water change. For new tanks, dose daily for the first week to establish the colony.
Q: Is this safe for shrimp and snails?
A: Absolutely. This product contains natural beneficial bacteria and is completely safe for all invertebrates, including shrimp, snails, and crabs.
