Perfect for my Kakuno
This ink flows beautifully in my Pilot Kakuno. The blue-black shade is professional and the non-carbon formula means I don't have to worry about cleaning my pen as often. Highly recommended!

Classic Japanese quality
You can't go wrong with Pilot ink. It's reliable, consistent, and the bottle design makes dipping easy without making a mess. The black is deep and rich.

Good but not waterproof
The ink writes very smoothly and I love the color options. However, since it is dye-based, it is not water-resistant. If you need waterproof ink, look elsewhere. For daily notes, it's fine.

Best ink for beginners
Bought this for my son who just started using fountain pens. The clog-free formula is forgiving for beginners who might not clean their pens regularly. Excellent product.

Great value bottle
30ml lasts a long time even with daily writing. The color saturation is good, though the red is slightly lighter than I expected. Still a solid purchase for the price.

No more clogs!
I switched from a carbon-based ink to this Pilot INK-30 and the difference is night and day. My pen writes smoothly every time I pick it up, even after sitting unused for a week.
Q: Can I mix this with other Pilot ink colors?
A: Yes, since all Pilot INK-30 bottles use the same dye-based formula, they can be safely mixed to create custom shades within the same product line.
Q: Is this ink safe to use in a vintage fountain pen?
A: While this ink is gentle and non-corrosive, we generally recommend consulting a specialist before using any modern ink in very old vintage pens with specific materials like hard rubber or celluloid.
Q: Does the bottle come with a cleaning brush?
A: No, the INK-30 bottle does not include a cleaning brush. It features a plastic insert to help guide the pen nib during filling, but brushes are sold separately.
Q: Is this ink suitable for calligraphy?
A: This ink is designed primarily for fountain pens. While it can be used for basic calligraphy, dedicated calligraphy inks may offer better flow characteristics for broad-edge nibs.
Q: How long does the ink last once opened?
A: If stored properly with the cap tightly sealed in a cool, dark place, the ink can last for several years without significant degradation in quality or color.
