Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The hardened steel holds up well against abrasive filaments that would have ruined a brass nozzle in an hour. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep, but quality justifies it.

Essential for high-speed printing
Running this at high speeds with the A1 has been fantastic. No clogging issues so far, and the layer adhesion is consistent. Highly recommend if you plan to experiment with tougher materials.

Seamless replacement
My original hotend got damaged, and this was a perfect direct replacement. The fit is precise, and the printer recognized it immediately without needing complex calibration beyond the standard flow rate check.

Great durability, slightly longer heat-up
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I noticed it takes about 10 seconds longer to reach target temperature compared to the stock brass nozzle, but the ability to print glass-filled nylon makes it worth it.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel assembly to print carbon fiber PLA, and it works flawlessly. The installation on my A1 mini was straightforward, taking less than 15 minutes. Print quality remains sharp even after several spools.

No more clogs!
I was constantly clearing clogs with my old setup when printing glitter PLA. Since installing this upgraded assembly, I haven't had a single jam. The smooth internal surface really helps filament flow.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware before installing this?
A: No firmware update is strictly required for hardware compatibility, but we always recommend running the latest firmware version on your Bambu Lab printer to ensure optimal performance and calibration features.
Q: What is the return policy if it doesn't fit?
A: We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging. If you encounter any fitting issues due to manufacturing defects, please contact our support team for a direct replacement.
Q: Can I use this to print pure carbon fiber filament?
A: While the hardened steel nozzle can handle abrasive materials like carbon-fiber-filled PLA or PETG, we do not recommend printing 100% pure carbon fiber rods or highly abrasive composites without verifying specific filament manufacturer guidelines, as they may still cause excessive wear over time.
Q: Does this come with a new heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: Yes, this is a complete integrated assembly, which includes the heater cartridge, thermistor, heatsink, and the hardened steel nozzle pre-installed.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard Bambu Lab A1 as well as the Mini?
A: Yes, this integrated hotend assembly is designed to be fully compatible with both the Bambu Lab A1 and the A1 mini models.
