Works but instructions were vague
The part itself functions correctly, but the installation guide provided was very generic. If you haven't swapped a hotend before, you might need to watch a YouTube tutorial to get the wiring right.

Perfect replacement for my Max3
My original hotend started clogging frequently after a year of heavy use. This kit was a direct fit and took only 15 minutes to install. Printing quality is back to perfect immediately.

Easy upgrade from stock
Upgraded my Plus3 with this kit to get better flow rates. The dual fan cooling keeps the heat break cool effectively, preventing heat creep issues I had before.

Good value, minor thermal paste issue
The hotend works great on my Q1 Pro. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty, so I had to use my own. Otherwise, temperature stability is excellent.

Handles high-temp filaments well
I primarily print with Nylon and Carbon Fiber blends. This hotend maintains consistent temperatures even at 280°C without any degradation. Highly recommended for engineering materials.
Q: Does this come with a hardened steel nozzle for abrasive filaments?
A: The standard kit includes a brass nozzle. However, the hotend assembly is compatible with hardened steel nozzles which can be purchased separately if you plan to print carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark filaments regularly.
Q: Can I use this to upgrade to a 0.2mm nozzle for finer details?
A: Yes, the hotend assembly accepts any standard M6 threaded nozzle. You can swap the included 0.4mm nozzle for a 0.2mm one easily.
Q: What is the lead time for shipping to California?
A: Orders shipped to California typically arrive within 3-5 business days via our standard ground shipping option.
Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed or do I need to attach it?
A: The thermistor is pre-installed and calibrated at the factory. You do not need to attach or configure it manually; simply plug in the connector.
Q: Is this compatible with the older Q1 model, not the Q1 Pro?
A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the Max3, Plus3, and Q1 Pro models. The mounting geometry differs for the standard Q1.
