Perfect for high-speed printing
This hotend handles my PLA and PETG prints at incredible speeds without clogging. The thermal stability is impressive, and the temperature readings are very consistent.

Robust build quality
The hardened steel nozzle is a game changer for printing abrasive materials like carbon fiber filled nylon. No wear visible after 2kg of filament.

Excellent cooling performance
The dual fan setup keeps the heat break cool even during long prints. I haven't experienced any heat creep issues since installing this unit.

Great upgrade but needs tuning
Significant improvement over the stock extruder. Had to adjust my retraction settings slightly, but once dialed in, the print quality is superb. Highly recommend for experienced users.

Solid performer
Works exactly as advertised. Installation was straightforward on my Voron machine. Only minor complaint is the fan noise is slightly higher than expected.

Best investment for my printer
Cut my print times in half while maintaining detail. The flow rate is genuinely high, and the temperature control is precise. Worth every penny.
Q: Is this compatible with Creality Ender 3 printers?
A: Yes, the Phaetus Dragon ST/HF is compatible with the Ender 3 series, though you may need a specific mounting bracket or adapter depending on your gantry configuration.
Q: Can I use this with ABS filament?
A: Absolutely. With a maximum operating temperature of 300°C and excellent thermal stability, this hotend is well-suited for ABS, ASA, and other high-temperature filaments.
Q: What is the difference between the ST and HF versions?
A: The ST (Standard) version is optimized for general purpose printing up to moderate speeds, while the HF (High-Flow) version features an enlarged melt zone designed specifically for very high volumetric flow rates.
Q: How often do I need to replace the nozzle?
A: With the included hardened steel nozzles, replacement is rarely needed unless physically damaged. For standard brass nozzles used with abrasive filaments, we recommend checking every 500g of filament.
Q: Does it come with a silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes a high-temperature silicone sock to help maintain consistent chamber temperatures and protect against accidental burns.
