Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The flow rate is smooth and layer adhesion is excellent. I deducted one star only because the included installation tool felt a bit flimsy, though it got the job done.

Perfect for Carbon Fiber Filament
I switched to this silicon carbide hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The wear resistance is incredible compared to the standard brass nozzle. After 2kg of filament, there is zero sign of wear on the tip.

No more clogs!
Since installing this SiC hotend, I haven't experienced a single clog, even when switching between different colored filaments frequently. The internal surface seems very smooth and resistant to buildup.

Great durability, slightly pricey
The build quality is excellent and it handles high temperatures very well. My only hesitation was the price point, but considering I don't have to replace nozzles every few prints anymore, it pays for itself.

Easy Installation on P1S
Installation on my Bambu Lab P1S took less than 10 minutes. The integrated design makes swapping much cleaner than dealing with separate heater blocks and nozzles. Prints came out perfect immediately after calibration.

Essential upgrade for engineering materials
If you plan on printing glass-filled nylon or any abrasive material, this is a must-have. The thermal stability ensures consistent extrusion even during long prints. Highly recommended for serious makers.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with standard PLA filament?
A: Absolutely. While it is designed for abrasive filaments, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and ABS, offering superior longevity.
Q: How does the wear resistance compare to a hardened steel nozzle?
A: Silicon Carbide offers significantly higher wear resistance and better thermal conductivity than hardened steel, extending the lifespan when printing highly abrasive composites.
Q: Is this hotend compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this Silicon Carbide integrated hotend is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, P1P, and P1S models.
Q: Does this come with a new thermistor or is it pre-installed?
A: The hotend comes as a fully integrated unit with the thermistor and heater cartridge pre-installed and tested at the factory.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for this unit?
A: The Silicon Carbide material allows for safe operation up to 350°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering polymers.
