Great flow rate, minor calibration needed
The high flow capability is noticeable when printing large vases. I had to recalibrate the pressure advance slightly, but once tuned, the print quality is exceptional. Very happy with the ceramic heating efficiency.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this kit specifically to print carbon fiber PLA, and it handles it like a dream. The hardened steel nozzle shows no signs of wear after 2kg of filament. Installation on my K1 MAX was straightforward.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Creality K1 non-MAX version?
A: This specific kit is designed exclusively for the K1C and K1 MAX models due to differences in the hotend mounting geometry. It is not compatible with the standard K1.
Q: Does this kit require any firmware updates before installation?
A: No firmware updates are strictly required, but ensuring your printer is on the latest firmware version is always good practice for optimal thermal management.
Q: Can I replace just the nozzle if it wears out, or must I buy the whole kit again?
A: The nozzle is integrated into the hotend assembly for optimal thermal transfer and sealing. If the nozzle wears out, the entire hotend unit needs to be replaced.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for continuous printing?
A: While the components can withstand brief spikes higher, we recommend a continuous operating temperature of up to 300°C for best longevity and performance.
Q: Is this suitable for printing TPU flexible filaments?
A: Yes, the high-flow design works well with TPU, provided you adjust your retraction settings appropriately for flexible materials.
