Good value pack

Great quality but soft tip
The thermal conductivity is amazing, leading to faster melt zones. However, remember that the copper tip is softer than brass, so be careful not to scrape the build plate.

Perfect for abrasive materials
I bought these specifically for the hardened steel insert version. They handle carbon-fiber filled nylon beautifully. The precision machining is evident in the layer consistency.
Q: Do I need to change my slicer settings when switching to these nozzles?
A: Generally, no. Since the diameter is standard (e.g., 0.4mm), your existing profiles should work. You might benefit from slightly higher print speeds due to better melting efficiency.
Q: Can I use these nozzles with PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While they excel with high-temperature materials, they work perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and ABS as well.
Q: Is there a warranty if the threads strip during installation?
A: We offer a 30-day replacement guarantee for manufacturing defects. However, damage caused by cross-threading or over-tightening during installation is not covered.
Q: Are these nozzles compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend or only the Volcano version?
A: These are specifically designed for the E3D V6 Volcano hotend due to their longer heating zone geometry. They will not fit a standard V6 hotend correctly.
Q: What is the actual hardness of the tip compared to hardened steel nozzles?
A: The tip features a hardened steel insert which offers similar wear resistance to full hardened steel nozzles, while the copper body ensures superior thermal conductivity.
