Great replacement part
Exactly as described. The dimensions match the standard E3D V5 specs. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the product itself is flawless.

Must-have for metal hotends
If you are building an all-metal hotend, this is the block to get. It handles PLA, PETG, and ABS without any temperature fluctuations. Highly recommended.

Excellent thermal performance
Switched from a brass block to this all-metal version. The heat distribution is much more even, reducing clogs significantly when printing with abrasive materials.

Good value for the price
Solid aluminum construction. It took a little bit of tweaking to get the thermistor seated correctly, but once installed, it works great for high-temperature filaments.

Perfect fit for my E3D V5 upgrade
This heater block fits perfectly on my modified printer. The machining quality is excellent, and the anodized finish looks professional. Heating is consistent and stable.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for this block?
A: The aluminum alloy block can safely handle temperatures up to 300°C, which covers most common consumer 3D printing filaments.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: Yes, since this is an all-metal setup, it is suitable for abrasive filaments. However, please ensure you also use a hardened steel nozzle to prevent wear.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 hotend?
A: No, this heater block is specifically designed for the E3D V5 system. The geometry and threading differ slightly from the V6 model.
Q: Does this come with a heater cartridge or thermistor?
A: No, this package includes only the heater block itself. You will need to use your existing heater cartridge and thermistor or purchase them separately.
Q: What size are the screw holes for mounting?
A: The mounting holes are standard M3 spacing, compatible with most E3D V5 style fan mounts and brackets.
