Excellent thermal performance
I was worried about heat creep, but the brass heatsink handles it beautifully. My prints are consistent, and the layer adhesion has improved since switching from the stock nozzle.

Great quality, easy install
Installation took less than 10 minutes on my A1 mini. Print quality is excellent. I gave it 4 stars only because the included instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners.

Must-have for A1 owners
If you plan on printing anything other than standard PLA, get this kit. The ability to detach just the nozzle without removing the entire hotend assembly saves so much time during maintenance.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle kit to print carbon fiber PLA, and it works flawlessly. The brass heatsink maintains temperature very well, and the detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast.

Solid construction
The build quality feels premium. The brass heatsink is machined perfectly, and the hardened steel nozzle shows no signs of wear after printing several spools of glass-filled nylon.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with PETG and ABS filaments?
A: Absolutely. The hardened steel nozzle is suitable for PLA, PETG, ABS, and even abrasive materials like carbon fiber or wood-fill filaments.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab A1 as well as the mini version?
A: Yes, this Hotend Upgrade Kit is fully compatible with both the Bambu Lab A1 and the A1 mini models.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Depending on usage and filament abrasiveness, they can last for hundreds of printing hours before needing replacement.
Q: Does the kit come with a tool to remove the nozzle?
A: Yes, the package includes a specialized nozzle key designed specifically for safe and easy removal of the hardened steel nozzle.
Q: What is the maximum recommended printing temperature for this hotend?
A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering filaments.
