Perfect upgrade for my S1 Pro
The copper-plated throat provides excellent heat conduction. My prints have never been smoother since installing this kit. The aluminum block fits perfectly without any modification needed.

Good value but instructions could be better
The quality of the metal parts is impressive for the price. However, the installation guide was a bit vague. If you have experience with 3D printers, this is a non-issue.

Essential DIY kit
Great kit for maintaining or upgrading your Ender 3 S1. The nozzles are high quality and the heating block distributes heat very evenly. Will buy again.

Solved my clogging issues
I was experiencing frequent clogs with the stock setup. This bimetallic throat solved the problem immediately. Highly recommended for anyone printing with abrasive filaments.

Decent but shipping took long
The product itself works well and feels sturdy. The only downside was the shipping time, which took longer than expected. Once installed, performance is solid.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: Installation requires basic tools and some familiarity with 3D printer maintenance. It typically takes about 20-30 minutes for an experienced user.
Q: Can I use this with ABS filament?
A: While the hardware can reach the temperatures required for ABS, we recommend ensuring your printer has an enclosed chamber for optimal ABS printing results.
Q: Is this kit compatible with the original Ender 3 V2?
A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the Ender-3 S1 and S1 Pro models due to differences in the hotend assembly structure.
Q: Does the package include a silicone sock?
A: No, this DIY kit includes the heating block, throat tube, and nozzles only. Silicone socks are sold separately.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this heating block can sustain?
A: The aluminum heating block is rated for continuous use up to 260°C, making it suitable for PLA, PETG, and TPU filaments.
