Solid components
The build quality of the metal parts is excellent. Installation took about an hour. My printer is running smoother than ever, though I wish it came with a spare hotend fan.

Great value kit
Everything fit perfectly. The extruder kit was easy to install following the manual. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners.

Solved my slipping issue
My old extruder was struggling with TPU filament. This new dual-drive extruder kit handles flexible materials like a charm. Highly recommended for TPU users.

Essential maintenance parts
I bought this as a spare parts kit. The timing belts are high quality and the pulleys align perfectly. It's good to have these on hand for long-term maintenance.

Perfect upgrade for high-speed printing
Installed the hardened steel nozzle and new belts on my Neptune 4 Max. The print quality at high speeds improved significantly, and the vibration is noticeably reduced.
Q: What is the length of the timing belt included?
A: The timing belts are pre-cut to the exact specifications required for the Neptune 4 Plus and 4 Max axis lengths. No cutting or adjustment is needed.
Q: Can the hardened steel nozzle print carbon fiber filament?
A: Yes, the included hardened steel nozzle is resistant to abrasion and is suitable for printing composite filaments like carbon fiber, glass fiber, and wood-fill.
Q: Does this kit improve printing speed automatically?
A: While the hardware supports higher speeds, you will need to adjust your slicer settings and firmware acceleration limits to fully utilize the high-speed capabilities.
Q: Do I need special tools to install the extruder kit?
A: The kit includes the necessary Allen keys for installation. However, having a small set of screwdrivers and pliers handy may make the process easier.
Q: Is this kit compatible with the original ELEGOO Neptune 3?
A: No, this accessory kit is specifically designed for the Neptune 4 Plus and Neptune 4 Max models due to differences in the extruder and motion system architecture.
