Excellent thermal performance
Switched from an aluminum block to this copper one for better heat distribution on ABS prints. The difference in layer adhesion is noticeable. Installation was straightforward.

Good quality, minor threading issue
The copper quality seems very high and it heats up quickly. I had to chase the threads slightly with a tap before installation, but once on, it works great. Good value for the price.

Works well for low-melt filaments
Using this primarily for PLA and PETG. It maintains temperature very steadily. Just be careful not to overtighten the screws as copper is softer than aluminum.

Perfect fit for my V6 upgrade
This copper block fits perfectly onto my E3D V6 setup. The thermal conductivity is excellent, and my PLA prints have never been more consistent. Highly recommended for anyone doing a hotend rebuild.
Q: What size heater cartridge does this accept?
A: This block is designed to accept a standard 6mm diameter heater cartridge, typically 12V or 24V depending on your printer setup.
Q: Can I use this for printing Nylon?
A: Yes, provided you pair it with an appropriate high-temperature heater cartridge and thermistor, this copper block can handle the temperatures required for Nylon printing.
Q: Does it come with thermal paste?
A: No, thermal paste is not included in the package. We recommend applying a small amount of high-temperature thermal compound during installation for optimal heat transfer.
Q: Are the grub screws stainless steel?
A: Yes, the included grub screws are made of stainless steel to resist heat and prevent stripping during repeated assembly and disassembly.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 Lite hotend?
A: Yes, this copper heating block is fully compatible with both the standard E3D V6 and the V6 Lite hotend systems.
