Good protection, slight odor initially

The cover provides excellent protection against accidental burns and keeps dust away from the heater block. There was a slight rubber smell during the first few prints, but it dissipated quickly after a heat cycle.

Works as advertised

Perfect fit for my P1S

A: No, the design is precision-molded to fit around the heater block without obstructing the part cooling fan duct or airflow paths on the P1S.

Q: Can I leave this on while printing PLA at lower temperatures?

A: Yes, you can leave it on for all material types. While it is most beneficial for high-temperature filaments like ABS or ASA, it also provides excellent dust protection and burn safety for PLA prints.
