Perfect replacement for my X1
My original fan started making noise after a year of heavy use. This dual ball bearing replacement is whisper quiet and fits perfectly. The PWM control works exactly as expected.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of the dual ball bearings?
A: Dual ball bearings typically offer a lifespan of over 50,000 hours under normal operating conditions, significantly longer than sleeve bearings.
Q: Can I use this for cooling the mainboard instead of the hotend?
A: This fan is specifically designed and tuned for hotend throat cooling. While it might physically fit elsewhere, we do not recommend it for mainboard cooling due to specific airflow requirements.
Q: Is this fan compatible with the P1P model specifically?
A: Yes, this fan is fully compatible with the entire P1 Series, including the P1P and P1S models.
Q: Will installing this void my printer warranty?
A: Replacing consumable parts like fans generally does not void the warranty, provided no damage is caused during installation. Please consult your specific warranty terms.
