If you own a Bambu Lab X1 or P1P and want to expand your material library, this is a must-buy. The wear resistance is noticeable, and the finish on printed parts remains consistent over hundreds of hours.

Solid performance for industrial use
We use these in our office for rapid prototyping with engineering-grade materials. They hold up well under continuous operation. The only minor downside is that the hardened nozzles take slightly longer to heat up, but it's negligible.

Solved my clogging issues
I was constantly clogging with the stock hotend when using glass-filled PETG. This kit completely eliminated that problem. The high-temp capability allows me to push materials to their limits without worry.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. The extended thermal break prevents heat creep even during long prints. Highly recommended for anyone moving beyond standard PLA.

Great upgrade but requires tuning
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I did have to recalibrate my pressure advance settings after installation, which is expected when changing hotends. Once tuned, the print quality is superior to the stock brass nozzle.

A: Firmware updates are not strictly required for basic functionality, but we recommend ensuring your printer is on the latest firmware version to benefit from any thermal profile optimizations.

A: No, this specific Upgrade 2.0 Extended Hotend Kit is designed exclusively for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series due to differences in mounting and connector types.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with regular PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While it is optimized for abrasive and high-temperature materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other non-abrasive filaments.
