Solid build quality
The silicone feels thick and robust. It fits snugly on the H2D hotend. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the product itself is excellent.

Good protection, slight odor initially
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. There was a slight rubber smell during the first few prints, but it went away quickly. Keeps the heating block clean from oozing filament.

Essential accessory
I bought this for my P1S and it works great. The quality of the silicone feels durable, and it slides on easily without being too loose. Great value for the price.

Improved temperature stability
Noticed slightly better temperature consistency on high-temp materials like ABS after installing this. It's a small part that makes a big difference in print quality.

Perfect fit for my A1 Mini
This silicone sock fits perfectly on my Bambu Lab A1 mini. It keeps the heat concentrated on the nozzle and prevents accidental burns when I'm tweaking settings. Highly recommended.

Safe and easy to use
As a beginner, I was worried about touching the hot end. This cover gives me peace of mind. Installation took less than a minute.
Q: Can this withstand PETG printing temperatures?
A: Absolutely. The high-temperature resistant silicone can safely handle temperatures up to 300°C, which covers PETG, PLA, ABS, and ASA printing requirements.
Q: Do I need to remove the sock to clean the nozzle?
A: It is recommended to slide the sock down or remove it occasionally to clean any accumulated residue on the heating block or nozzle threads to ensure optimal performance.
Q: Will this interfere with the automatic bed leveling sensor?
A: No, this protective cover is shaped specifically to avoid interference with the bed leveling sensor or the toolhead movement on Bambu Lab printers.
Q: Does this come with adhesive or clips?
A: No, the sock uses a friction-fit design. You simply slide it over the heating block, and the elasticity of the silicone holds it securely in place without extra hardware.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this silicone sock is designed to be compatible with the X1 Carbon, as well as the P1S, A1, and A1 mini models using the standard hotend configuration.
