Essential maintenance item
If you own a Bambu Lab printer, you need this. It makes routine maintenance so much faster. The high-temperature resistance means I can use it right after a print while the nozzle is still warm, which cleans much better.

No more metal brush scratches

Great tool, wish it was longer
Works exactly as described for wiping filament residue. My only minor complaint is that the handle could be an inch longer for better leverage when cleaning deep inside the assembly, but otherwise a solid purchase.

Easy to use for beginners

Good but collects dust
The brush works well for cleaning, but the silicone seems to attract static dust from the workshop air. I have to rinse it off before every use. Functionality is good, just requires extra prep.

Perfect fit for the H2D
This brush fits perfectly into the tight spaces of the Bambu Lab H2D hotend. The silicone bristles are soft enough that I don't worry about scratching the nozzle, but stiff enough to clear away carbon buildup effectively.
Q: How often should I replace this brush?
A: With normal usage, the brush should last for several months. You should replace it if the bristles become permanently deformed, torn, or if they lose their ability to effectively sweep away debris.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard X1 Carbon hotend?
A: This specific brush is shaped specifically for the geometry of the H2D hotend. While it might work on other models, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit for the X1 Carbon series.
Q: Does this come with a storage case?
A: No, this item is sold as a standalone tool without a dedicated storage case. We recommend keeping it in your existing toolkit or a small parts organizer.
Q: Can this brush be used on a cold nozzle?
A: Yes, it is safe to use on both cold and warm nozzles. However, for best results in removing stubborn residue, we recommend using it when the nozzle is slightly warm (around 60-80°C).
Q: Will the silicone melt if I touch the heater block directly?
A: The silicone is rated up to 300°C, which exceeds the typical operating temperature of most filaments. However, avoid prolonged direct contact with the heater block elements themselves to maximize the lifespan of the brush.
