Game changer for nozzle swaps
This modification makes changing nozzles on my AD5M incredibly fast. The Bambu-style quick release works flawlessly, saving me at least 15 minutes per change compared to the stock setup.

Great upgrade, minor fitment note
The print quality is excellent and the detachment mechanism is smooth. Just ensure you align the pins correctly during the first install. Once seated, it feels very secure.

Easy installation for beginners
I was worried about modifying my printer, but the instructions were clear. The quick-release lever is intuitive. Took off one star because the included key is a bit small.

Solid build quality
The metal construction feels premium and durable. Temperature stability is consistent, and I haven't experienced any clogging issues since installing this two weeks ago.
Q: Does the package include different nozzle sizes?
A: The standard package includes the hotend assembly with one 0.4mm nozzle installed. Additional nozzle sizes (0.2mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm) are sold separately.
Q: Is the quick-release mechanism durable for daily swapping?
A: Yes, the locking mechanism is tested for over 5,000 cycles. It is built from hardened steel springs to withstand frequent daily use in professional environments.
Q: What is the maximum temperature rating for this hotend?
A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for most common engineering filaments including ABS and Polycarbonate blends.
Q: Can I use standard Bambu Lab nozzles with this adapter?
A: While the mechanism mimics the Bambu style, we recommend using the specific nozzles provided or certified compatibles designed for this Flashforge modification to ensure proper sealing and heat transfer.
Q: Does this hotend require any firmware updates to work with the Flashforge AD5M?
A: No firmware updates are required. This is a hardware-only modification that utilizes the existing thermal and mechanical interfaces of the AD5M.
