Perfect upgrade for my V6
This titanium heat break solved my heat creep issues immediately. The M7 thread fit perfectly without any forcing. Highly recommended for high-temperature filaments.
Q: How does this prevent heat creep compared to brass?
A: Titanium has significantly lower thermal conductivity than brass, which prevents heat from traveling up the throat and melting filament prematurely, thus preventing heat creep.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 Lite?
A: Yes, this heat break is fully compatible with both the standard E3D V6 and the V6 Lite hotends.
Q: Do I need to apply thermal paste during installation?
A: While not strictly mandatory, applying a small amount of high-temperature thermal paste to the threads is recommended for optimal heat transfer and easier future removal.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this can withstand?
A: The titanium alloy and red copper construction allows for stable operation well beyond 300°C, making it suitable for most engineering filaments.
