Solved my clogging issues
My Kobra 3 was constantly clogging with high-temperature materials. This modified topo hotend resolved the heat creep issue entirely. Highly recommended for anyone pushing their printer limits.

Solid build quality

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber PLA, and it has been flawless. The standard brass nozzle wore out in two prints, but this one shows no signs of wear after several spools.

Great upgrade, tricky install

Essential for Kobra 3 owners
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, buy this immediately. The durability of the hardened steel compared to the stock component is night and day.

Good but runs hotter
It prints well, but I noticed the part cooling fan needs to run at 100% to keep the heatbreak cool. If you don't adjust your cooling settings, you might get jams. Works great once tuned.
Q: Does the package include a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the upgrade kit includes a new high-temperature silicone sock compatible with the modified hotend geometry to ensure proper thermal insulation.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for continuous printing?
A: We recommend a continuous operating temperature of up to 300°C. Short bursts up to 320°C are possible, but prolonged exposure above 300°C may degrade the PTFE lining if present in the upper tube.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my flow rate after installation?
A: Yes, because the internal geometry of the modified hotend differs slightly from the stock version, we strongly recommend performing a flow rate calibration and pressure advance tuning for optimal results.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Anycubic Kobra or only the Kobra 3?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the Anycubic Kobra 3 due to differences in the hotend mounting and connector types. It is not compatible with the original Kobra or Kobra 2 models.
Q: Can I use this nozzle to print pure metal filaments?
A: While the hardened steel can handle abrasive materials like carbon fiber or glass-filled nylon, it is not designed for printing pure metal filaments that require sintering ovens. Please stick to standard composite filaments.
