The hardware is solid, but you need to spend time tuning retraction settings to get perfect results. Once dialed in, it prints beautifully.

Solid upgrade for older printers

Reliable dual extrusion
Finally found a hot end that doesn't leak when switching between nozzles. The embedded design saves space and looks professional.
Q: Can I use abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber with this?
A: While the block is metal, the stock nozzle is brass. For abrasive filaments, we recommend swapping the nozzle to a hardened steel version.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this can sustain safely?
A: The full metal construction allows for safe operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering filaments.
Q: Does this come with heating cartridges and thermistors?
A: Yes, the kit includes one 12V/24V heating cartridge and a thermistor pre-installed in the block.
Q: How do I switch between the two inputs?
A: Switching is controlled via your printer's firmware and slicer settings by selecting the active extruder channel; the hardware supports both simultaneously or independently.
Q: Is this compatible with E3D V6 mounts?
A: Yes, this hot end is designed with standard V6 dimensions and fits most E3D V6 compatible mounts.
