Essential for our lab

Great durability, slightly pricey
I've been printing carbon fiber reinforced PLA for weeks and the nozzle shows no signs of wear. The hardened steel really makes a difference. Only giving 4 stars because it is a bit more expensive than standard brass nozzles.

Easy installation for beginners

Perfect fit for the K2 Plus
The quick-release mechanism works flawlessly. Swapped my nozzle in under a minute without needing to disassemble the entire hotend. Print quality on abrasive filaments has improved noticeably.

High flow performance is real
Reduced my print times significantly on large batches. The internal geometry seems optimized for better material flow compared to the stock nozzle. Highly recommended for production runs.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with pure copper filament?
A: While the nozzle is made of hardened steel and can handle abrasive materials, we do not recommend printing with pure metal filaments like copper as they require specific temperature profiles and may exceed the thermal limits of the standard hotend assembly.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: The nozzle is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Brief peaks slightly higher are tolerated, but sustained printing above 300°C is not advised to maintain longevity.
Q: Does the package include a wrench for removal?
A: Yes, the kit includes a specialized installation tool designed specifically for the quick-release mechanism, so no external wrenches are required for standard swaps.
Q: How often should I replace this hardened steel nozzle?
A: Under normal usage with standard filaments, the nozzle can last 6 to 12 months. If printing highly abrasive materials like carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark filaments daily, inspection every 3 months is recommended.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original Creality K2 non-PLUS model?
A: This specific kit is designed exclusively for the K2 PLUS due to the Hi Lingxi integrated quick-release system. It is not compatible with the standard K2 model which uses a different mounting interface.
