Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel kit specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA, and it has been flawless. The integrated design makes installation on my K1C much easier than previous models. No clogging issues so far after 2kg of filament.

Solid upgrade

Great quality, slightly tricky install

If you own a K1 Max and plan to print anything other than basic PLA, this is a must-have. The dual-metal construction handles heat distribution perfectly. I've run continuous prints for 48 hours without any degradation in performance.

A: When printing with abrasive materials like carbon fiber or glass-filled filaments, a hardened steel nozzle can last 5 to 10 times longer than a standard brass nozzle. For non-abrasive filaments, the lifespan is effectively indefinite under normal use.
