Easy swap for beginners
I was worried about installing this myself, but the magnetic connector and single screw design made it incredibly easy. My printer recognized it immediately without any manual configuration.

Great quality but runs slightly hotter
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. I noticed the temperature reading is about 2-3 degrees higher than my stock hotend, but once calibrated in the software, prints are perfect.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass or carbon fibers, this is a must-have. The brass throat conducts heat well, and the steel nozzle withstands the abrasion. Highly recommended for the P1P.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber nylon, and it performs flawlessly. The installation on my X1C took less than two minutes. No clogs so far after 50 hours of printing.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, which is a bit steep compared to third-party options, but the reliability is worth it for critical prints.

Seamless replacement
My original nozzle wore out after extensive use with glow-in-the-dark PLA. This replacement fits perfectly and the flow rate is consistent. Very happy with the purchase.
Q: Will installing this void my printer warranty?
A: No, replacing the hotend assembly is considered standard maintenance and does not void your printer's warranty, provided no damage is caused during the installation process.
Q: Can I use this to print pure metal filaments?
A: While the hardened steel nozzle is durable, we do not recommend printing filaments with high metal content as they may still cause excessive wear or clogging. It is best suited for composite filaments like carbon fiber or glass fiber reinforced plastics.
Q: Is this hotend compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this specific assembly is designed exclusively for the X1, X1C, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 and A1 mini use a different hotend architecture.
Q: Does this come with a 0.2mm nozzle installed?
A: The standard package typically comes with a 0.4mm nozzle pre-installed. Other sizes like 0.2mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm are available separately or in multi-packs depending on the retailer.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, you can expect several hundred hours of print time before needing replacement, though you should inspect it periodically for wear.
