Essential for abrasive filaments
Switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. The standard brass nozzle wore out after just two spools, but this one shows no signs of wear after five spools. Print quality remains crisp and consistent.

Solid upgrade
Good product overall. Just remember to adjust your pressure advance settings slightly as the internal geometry can differ minutely from brass. Once tuned, prints are flawless.

Peace of mind
Even though I mostly print PLA, knowing I have a nozzle that can handle accidental abrasive contaminants gives me peace of mind. Worth the extra cost for the durability.

Great durability, slightly longer heat up

No more clogs with glitter PLA
I love using glitter and metallic filaments, but they always destroyed my old nozzles. This hardened steel version handles them without any issues. The surface finish on prints is still very smooth.
