Easy installation
I was worried about installing a hotend myself, but the Bambu Lab design makes it foolproof. It clicked right in, and the printer recognized it immediately. No leaks or clogs so far.

Saved my prints
I kept clogging my old nozzle with glow-in-the-dark filament. This hardened steel kit solved the issue completely. Smooth extrusion and consistent flow rate throughout the entire print job.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle kit specifically for printing carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The swap was incredibly easy thanks to the detachable design, and print quality remains sharp even after several spools.

Great upgrade, minor heating lag
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I noticed a slight delay in reaching target temperature compared to the brass nozzle, but once stable, the layers are perfect. Highly recommended for durability.

Essential accessory for P1S owners
If you plan on doing any serious engineering material printing, get this kit. The hardened steel prevents wear that ruins standard nozzles. The 0.2mm option allows for incredible detail on small parts.

Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The heat break seems well-insulated. I deducted one star only because the price is a bit steep, but considering the longevity compared to brass nozzles, it's worth it.
Q: Does the kit come with both 0.2mm and 0.4mm nozzles?
A: The specific configuration depends on the SKU selected at purchase. Please check the product variation options to ensure you select the desired orifice size.
Q: Can I use this with PETG filament?
A: Absolutely. While optimized for abrasive materials like carbon fiber, it works perfectly with standard filaments including PETG, PLA, and ABS.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, X1E, P1P, and P1S models.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after installation?
A: It is highly recommended to run the automatic flow calibration in the printer settings after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal extrusion accuracy.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Under normal use with abrasive filaments, they can last 6-12 months or more depending on usage volume.
