Good product, slow shipping
The sensor works great once you get it, but the delivery took longer than expected. Product quality is top-notch though.

Saves so much time
I used to spend hours manually tweaking offsets. This automated the whole process and improved my first layer consistency significantly.

Works well but instructions could be clearer
The hardware itself is solid and does exactly what it promises. I just wished the manual had a few more diagrams for the initial setup.

Essential for H2C upgrades
This sensor made calibrating my new H2C hotend incredibly easy. The process was straightforward and the results were accurate immediately.
Q: How long does the calibration process take?
A: The automatic calibration process typically takes between 3 to 5 minutes depending on your specific printer configuration.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware before using this sensor?
A: Yes, we recommend updating to the latest firmware version to ensure full compatibility and optimal performance with the calibration sensor.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard X1 Carbon without the H2C upgrade?
A: No, this sensor is specifically designed for printers equipped with the H2C hotend system and may not function correctly with standard hotends.
Q: What should I do if the calibration fails repeatedly?
A: Please ensure the sensor is clean and properly seated. If issues persist, contact our support team for further troubleshooting steps.
Q: Can I use this sensor for multi-color printing setups?
A: Absolutely. This sensor helps ensure accurate nozzle positioning which is critical for successful multi-color prints using the AMS system.
