Works well, slightly tight at first
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. It was a bit tight to put on initially, but once seated, it holds very securely. No issues with heat retention.

Essential upgrade for temperature stability
This silicone sock fits perfectly on my X1-Carbon. I noticed immediately that the chamber temperature stays more consistent, especially when printing with ABS. It also protects the hotend from accidental bumps.

Good value
Solid product. The silicone seems resistant to degradation even after weeks of continuous printing. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came in a 2-pack.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sock?
A: Inspect the sock regularly for tears or significant deformation. Under normal use, it can last for many months, but replace it if you notice damage that exposes the hotend.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon version?
A: Yes, this silicone sock is fully compatible with both the X1 and X1-Carbon models.
Q: Can I leave this on while printing PLA?
A: While you can leave it on, it is primarily designed for high-temperature filaments like ABS or ASA. For PLA, it is optional but will not harm the printer.
Q: Will this fit the P1P if I have an enclosure mod installed?
A: Yes, the sock fits the hotend assembly itself and is independent of whether you have a third-party enclosure installed on your P1P.
