Great Quality, Slightly Pricey
The build quality is excellent and prints are very consistent. It is a bit more expensive than third-party options, but the reliability is worth the extra cost for professional jobs.

Essential Upgrade for P2S
If you own a P2S and plan to print anything other than standard PLA, this is a mandatory upgrade. The durability of the hardened steel is unmatched.

Works as Advertised
Does exactly what it says. Print quality improved slightly due to better flow consistency. Instructions could be slightly clearer for absolute beginners.

Perfect for Carbon Fiber Prints
Switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing CF-PLA. The high flow design keeps up with my speed settings perfectly, and there is no wear after 2kg of filament.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installing this kit?
A: It is highly recommended to run the full calibration sequence, including flow dynamics and vibration compensation, to ensure optimal print quality with the new hotend.
Q: Is this kit compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: No, this specific detachable hotend kit is designed exclusively for the A1, A1 mini, P2S, and H2D models. The X1 series uses a different hotend architecture.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, the hardened steel nozzle typically lasts 5 to 10 times longer than standard brass nozzles, often exceeding 500 hours of print time.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with standard PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While optimized for abrasive filaments, it works perfectly with standard PLA, PETG, and ABS, offering high flow rates for faster printing.
Q: Does the package include thermal paste for reassembly?
A: Yes, a small syringe of high-quality thermal paste is included in the box to ensure proper heat transfer during installation.
