Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. No wear on the nozzle after 2kg of filament. The temperature stability is excellent.

Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but considering the longevity compared to brass nozzles, it's worth the investment.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the printer after installing this?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to run a full flow rate calibration and vibration calibration (Input Shaping) after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: The standard package includes a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the hotend assembly accepts standard V6-style threaded nozzles, so you can purchase 0.6mm or 0.8mm hardened nozzles separately.
Q: Can this handle Polycarbonate (PC) filament?
A: Yes, the hardened steel hotend can reach temperatures up to 300°C, which is suitable for printing Polycarbonate. Ensure your enclosure is heated to prevent warping.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon version?
