Works but fan is slightly louder

A: We do not recommend using abrasive filaments with standard brass nozzles as they will wear out quickly. For carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark filaments, please purchase a hardened steel nozzle separately.

Q: Is this compatible with the original Anycubic Kobra (non-2 version)?

A: No, this S1C hotend kit is specifically designed for the Kobra 2 Neo and Kobra 2 models. The mounting points and connectors differ from the original Kobra series.

Q: Do I need to recalibrate my E-steps after installing this?

A: Generally, no. Since this is a direct replacement with the same gear ratio and path length, your existing E-steps calibration should remain accurate. However, always perform a test print to verify extrusion width.

Q: Does this kit include the silicone sock?

A: Yes, the hotend assembly comes pre-installed with a silicone thermal insulation sock to help maintain consistent temperatures.
