Easy install, good tone
The adhesive is strong and the potentiometer works smoothly. I use this for open mic nights and it feeds back much less than my previous clip-on mic. Highly recommended.

Perfect for my old acoustic

Solid construction
The wood finish matches my spruce top nicely. The cable feels durable and the jack is tight. Only wish the cable was slightly longer, but an extension cord solves that.

For the cost, this is an excellent entry-level pickup. It captures the strumming well, though it picks up a bit of finger noise if you play aggressively. Overall very satisfied.

Decent but not professional grade
It works well for practice and small gatherings, but if you are recording professionally, you might notice some lack of depth in the low end. Good for beginners though.
Q: What is the exact size of the pickup bar?
A: The pickup bar measures approximately 75mm in length and 18mm in width. It is designed to fit comfortably under the strings near the bridge of most standard acoustic guitars.
Q: Does this work with electric guitars?
A: This specific model is designed for acoustic and classical guitars where the vibration of the body is key to the sound. While it might produce sound on an electric guitar, it is not optimized for solid bodies and we recommend magnetic pickups for electric instruments.
Q: Can I replace the potentiometer if it breaks?
A: Yes, the potentiometer is wired with standard connections. If you have basic soldering skills, you can replace the pot with a standard 250k or 500k audio taper potentiometer depending on your preference.
Q: Will this damage the finish of my guitar when removed?
A: The pickup uses a specialized adhesive designed to hold securely during play but can be removed with gentle heat and patience. We recommend using a hair dryer on low heat to soften the adhesive before peeling it off slowly to minimize any risk to the finish.
