Easy installation
I'm not an expert at guitar repair, but swapping this jack was straightforward. The instructions implied by the design are clear, and the solder tabs are large enough to work with.

Solid connector
Does exactly what it should. The metal feels thick and the threading is clean. Took off one star only because the packaging was a bit flimsy, but the product itself is great.

No more static noise
My bass had intermittent signal loss whenever I moved the cable slightly. After installing this new jack socket, the signal is consistent and clear. Highly recommended for repairs.

Perfect replacement for my Strat
The original jack on my guitar was crackling constantly. This replacement fit perfectly into the existing hole and soldered up easily. The connection is now solid and noise-free.

Excellent value
Bought these to upgrade the cheap jacks on a budget guitar kit. They feel much more durable than the stock parts and hold the cable firmly in place.

Good quality, tight fit
Great build quality with nice nickel plating. It was a bit tight to screw onto my bass body, but once installed, it feels very secure. No more loose cables.
Q: Do I need special tools to install this?
A: You will need a soldering iron, solder, wire cutters, and typically a small wrench or socket to tighten the nut from the outside of the guitar body.
Q: What is the maximum cable thickness this can accept?
A: It accepts standard 6.35mm (1/4 inch) instrument cables. The internal contact is designed to grip typical mono plugs securely.
Q: Will this fit a standard Fender Stratocaster output hole?
A: Yes, this jack uses the standard M8 thread size which fits most Fender Stratocasters and similar electric guitars without modification.
Q: Is this a stereo or mono jack?
A: This is a mono (TS) 6.35mm jack, which is the standard configuration for most electric guitars and basses.
Q: Can this be used for active pickup systems?
A: Yes, it works fine with active systems as long as you connect the battery clip correctly to the jack terminals if your setup requires it.
