Works well but requires care
Does exactly what it says. You have to make sure you seat it properly before pulling, or it might slip. Once I got the hang of it, changing pots was a breeze.

No more damaged knobs
I used to use pliers and always ended up cracking the plastic knobs. This Flanger tool grips perfectly and distributes the pressure evenly. Great value for the price.

Compact and effective
Fits easily in my gig bag toolkit. It's small but very sturdy. I've used it on both my electric guitar and bass with no issues whatsoever.

Good for standard knobs
Works great on standard dome knobs, but struggled a bit with some of the wider, flat-top knobs on my vintage reissue. Still, better than using nothing.

Essential for any guitar tech
This little tool saved me so much time. I was struggling to get old knobs off my bass without scratching the finish, and this pulled them right off cleanly. Highly recommended for DIY repairs.

Must-have for maintenance
If you plan on ever swapping out pickups or pots, buy this. It prevents so much potential damage to your instrument's body and controls. Simple and effective design.
Q: Can this be used to install knobs as well as remove them?
A: While primarily designed for removal, the flat top surface can be used to gently press knobs back onto the shaft evenly, ensuring they are seated straight without hammering.
Q: Will this work on push-on knobs as well as set-screw knobs?
A: Yes, this tool is designed primarily for push-on style knob caps found on most modern guitars and basses. It may not be suitable for knobs secured tightly with set screws unless the screw is removed first.
Q: Is there a risk of scratching the guitar body when using this?
A: When used correctly, the tool lifts the knob vertically without touching the body. We recommend placing a soft cloth under the tool base for extra protection on delicate finishes.
Q: Is this tool compatible with Fender and Gibson style pots?
A: Yes, it is compatible with standard split-shaft and solid-shaft potentiometers commonly used by major manufacturers like Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, and others.
Q: What is the maximum diameter of the knob this can fit?
A: The internal jaw width accommodates standard potentiometer shafts and knob bases up to approximately 20mm in diameter, covering the vast majority of electric guitar and bass applications.
