Genuine Fender quality
Don't waste money on cheap generics. These solid shaft pots feel sturdy and install perfectly without any wobble. Great for precision work.

Good pot, check your shaft length
The quality is excellent, but make sure you need the 3/8 inch solid shaft before ordering. It worked great for my Telecaster build.

Smooth operation
No scratchiness at all right out of the box. The audio taper feels very natural when rolling off the volume. Highly recommended for upgrades.

Essential for authentic repairs
If you are restoring a Fender instrument, this is the specific part number you want. Fits the pickguard perfectly and sounds just like the originals.
Q: Is this potentiometer suitable for active pickups?
A: This is a passive 250k potentiometer designed for standard passive single-coil or humbucker pickups. It is not specifically designed for active electronics which usually require different values or no pots at all.
Q: What is the difference between solid and split shaft?
A: A solid shaft requires a knob with a set screw to secure it, while a split shaft allows for push-on knobs. This specific model (0049441000) has a solid shaft.
Q: Can I use this for both volume and tone controls?
A: Yes, 250k pots are commonly used for both volume and tone controls on guitars with single-coil pickups, such as Stratocasters and Telecasters.
Q: Does this come with a nut and washer?
A: Yes, genuine Fender replacement potentiometers typically include the mounting nut and washer required for installation.
Q: Is the taper linear or logarithmic?
A: For volume and tone applications in guitars, these are almost exclusively Audio Taper (Logarithmic) to provide a natural sweep of sound. This unit is an audio taper pot.
