Excellent thermal performance
I was experiencing heat creep issues with my old plastic holder. Switching to this aluminum fixing block solved the problem instantly. Highly recommended for high-temperature filaments.

Good quality control
No burrs or rough edges on the aluminum. Installation took less than 10 minutes. Deducting one star only because the instructions were just a small diagram, but it's intuitive enough.

Perfect fit for my dual extruder setup

Saved my printer

Solid upgrade, minor screw issue
The block itself is very sturdy and dissipates heat well. One of the included screws was slightly stripped, but I had spares. Overall, a great accessory for Makerbot users.
