Beautiful item, slightly smaller than expected
The quality is undeniable, and the patina is already starting to develop nicely. I just wished it was about 5mm larger based on the photos, but it is still a lovely piece of art.

Authentic aged material
As someone familiar with Taihang Thuja, I can confirm this is genuine aged material. The density and color depth are consistent with old cypress. A fantastic addition to my collection.

There is something very soothing about holding this. The carving is smooth with no rough edges, making it perfect for fidgeting or meditation. The fortune pendant aspect is a nice bonus.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful grain
The detail on the coiled dragon is incredible. You can tell this was carved by a master. The wood feels smooth and oily to the touch, exactly as described. It has become my daily carry item.

Great gift for collectors
Purchased this as a gift for my father who collects Wenwan items. He was thrilled with the high-oil finish and the intricate dragon details. The packaging was also very secure.

Perfect size for a hand piece
I bought this for stress relief while working, and the gourd shape fits perfectly in the palm. The aged cypress has a very subtle, pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. Highly recommended.
Q: What is the specific scent of the Taihang Thuja wood?
A: Aged Taihang Thuja typically has a mild, woody, and slightly sweet aroma. It is not pungent like fresh cedar; the scent becomes more noticeable when the wood is warmed by handling.
Q: Is the dragon design the same on every piece?
A: Since each piece is hand-carved from natural wood, there will be slight variations in the grain and minor details of the carving, making every item unique. However, the overall coiled dragon theme remains consistent.
Q: How should I care for the wood to maintain the high-oil finish?
A: We recommend handling it with clean hands regularly. The natural oils from your skin will help enhance the patina over time. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or water for extended periods.
Q: Does this come with a cord or chain for wearing as a pendant?
A: This item is primarily sold as a hand piece (Wenwan). It does not include a cord, but there is a small hole drilled at the top if you wish to attach your own chain or string.
Q: Can this be returned if the color varies significantly from the photo?
A: Yes, we accept returns within 30 days if the item is unused. Please note that natural wood colors may vary slightly due to lighting and monitor settings, but significant discrepancies are covered under our satisfaction guarantee.
