Nostalgia done right
Runs Ruby and Sapphire flawlessly. The build quality feels premium, not cheap like some other clones on the market. The purple color scheme is also very authentic.

Great hardware, minor button feel
The display upgrade over the original GBA is fantastic. Colors pop beautifully. The D-pad is slightly stiffer than I remember from the original, but you get used to it quickly.

Exceeded expectations
I was skeptical about third-party consoles, but this one works perfectly with all my old cartridges. Save states would be nice, but for native cartridge play, it's unbeatable.

Perfect for retro Pokémon marathons!

Solid upgrade from original GBC
Love the backlight and the wider viewing angle. It makes playing in low light actually possible. Only wish the speakers were a bit louder, but headphones solve that.
