Accurate but requires care
Very precise for surface energy testing. You must cap it immediately after use to prevent evaporation, which can alter the dyne level. Overall, a great tool for quality control.

Good product, shipping delay
The pen itself works exactly as described for surface tension measurement. However, the shipping took longer than expected. The product quality makes up for it though.

A: No, A.shine Dyne Pens are designed as single-use disposable tools to ensure the accuracy and purity of the test solution. Refilling may compromise the calibrated dyne level.
Q: What is the recommended storage temperature for these pens?
A: For best results, store the pens in a cool, dry place between 15°C and 25°C (59°F - 77°F). Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain liquid stability.
Q: How do I know if the surface tension is sufficient using this pen?
A: Draw a line with the pen on the surface. If the liquid remains beaded up within 2 seconds, the surface tension is lower than the pen's value. If it spreads evenly and wets the surface for at least 2 seconds, the surface tension meets or exceeds the pen's rating.
