Reliable standard tool
Standard equipment in our facility. The range from 18 to 105 covers all our needs. Just ensure you close the lid tightly after every use to prevent evaporation.

Consistent performance
Been using Cuiyuan pens for over two years. They are durable and the ink doesn't dry out quickly even with frequent use. Excellent for verifying treat levels on various substrates.

Essential for our quality control lab
We use these pens daily to test the surface energy of our packaging films before printing. The Cuiyuan pens provide consistent results and the ink flow is very reliable. Highly recommended for industrial QC.

Good value for the price
Works well for checking corona treatment levels on polyethylene. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the cap can be a bit tight sometimes, but the liquid quality itself is excellent.

Accurate and fast
Switched from a different brand to Cuiyan and noticed no difference in accuracy. The drying time is perfect for quick assessments on the production line. Will order again.

Perfect for coating adhesion tests
Our team uses this to verify surface preparation before applying adhesives. It gives a clear wetting line which makes reading the dyne level very easy. Great product.
Q: What is the shelf life of the liquid once opened?
A: While the unopened shelf life is 12 months, we recommend using the liquid within 6 months of opening. Always store the pen horizontally with the cap tightly sealed to maintain accuracy.
Q: Can this pen be used on metal surfaces?
A: Yes, the Cuiyuan Dyne pens are suitable for testing surface tension on metals, plastics, glass, and coated materials to ensure proper adhesion for printing or bonding.
Q: Is the ink toxic or hazardous?
A: The ink contains chemicals typical for dyne testing. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) included with the product. We recommend using gloves and working in a ventilated area.
Q: How do I interpret the results when using this pen?
A: Apply the ink in a straight line. If the ink beads up within 2 seconds, the surface tension is lower than the pen's rating. If it stays wet for more than 2 seconds, the surface tension is equal to or higher than the rating.
Q: Do you offer a full set covering the entire 18-105 range?
A: Yes, we offer individual pens for specific dyne levels as well as complete calibration sets covering the entire 18-105 mN/m range. Please check our bulk ordering options.
