Perfect bundle for jazz gigs
I bought this set specifically for my weekly jazz trio performances. The maple sticks have a great rebound, and the wire brushes are smooth without catching on the snare too much. The bamboo rods add a nice texture for softer passages. Highly recommended for working drummers.

Great value, minor finish issue
Overall a fantastic deal for three different types of percussion tools. The sticks feel balanced and the brushes work well. I deducted one star because one of the bamboo rods had a small splinter on the end, but I easily sanded it down. Still a great purchase.

Solid everyday carry
I keep this kit in my gig bag as a backup. The sticks are reliable, though I prefer hickory for rock music. For jazz and lighter styles, these maple sticks are spot on. The brushes are the highlight of the bundle.

Excellent quality maple
As someone who goes through sticks quickly, finding good 5A maple at this price point is rare. They feel dense but not heavy. The included brushes are surprisingly durable compared to other budget options I've tried in the past.
Q: Are the drumsticks suitable for heavy rock playing?
A: These are made of maple, which is lighter than hickory. While they are durable, they are primarily designed for jazz, swing, and lighter rock applications. For heavy rock, we recommend our hickory 5B series.
Q: Do the wire brushes come with a protective case?
A: The brushes do not come with a separate hard case, but they feature a retractable design that pulls the wires into the handle to prevent damage during transport.
Q: Are these sticks pre-straightened?
A: Yes, all our maple drumsticks undergo a rigorous straightening and weight-matching process to ensure consistency and proper balance before packaging.
